Our latest container of Waka Glide boards rolled into our USA warehouse on Friday, and we've been busy getting them out the door ever since. The team unloaded, unpacked, and started shipping – we've got the timelapse video and photos to prove it!

Our patent-pending folding technology requires custom tooling and pressure molds for each model that vacuum compress the laminate and EPS foam in a single integrated process. Every measurement has to be perfect for the hinge system to work flawlessly. There's no shortcut for that level of precision.
We break boards so you don't have to. Just like the automotive industry crash-tests vehicles, we sacrifice production boards to verify they meet our design and mechanical requirements. Our latest testing confirms the Waka Glide withstands over 1,000 lbs of downward force at the fold joint before failure. That's the kind of load you'd experience in a massive impact – and our boards handle it.
And the hinge itself? Rated for over 1 million fold cycles without degradation. The aerospace-grade carbon-kevlar living hinge will outlast the board itself.
