Thirty days to be sure. A simple refund or size swap if a board isn't right — handled by a human, not a help desk.
We want you on the right board, full stop. If the one you ordered isn't it, you've got thirty days to send it back for a refund or swap it for another size. Here's exactly how that works — and where warranty picks up instead.
You have 30 days from delivery to return a board for a refund or a size swap.
To qualify for a refund, the board should come back unridden, in its original packaging, complete (board, titanium fasteners including the spare, torx fold tool, day bag and printed materials), and with your proof of purchase.
To start a return, contact us with your order number and let us know whether you'd like a refund, a different size, or help deciding. We'll confirm the details and the return address.
Refunds are issued to your original payment method, usually within a few business days of us receiving and checking the board.
Bought from a dealer? They handled the sale, so they'll look after the return under the same 30-day terms.
A return covers change of mind on an unridden board. If a board you've been riding develops a fault, that's handled under our one-year limited warranty instead.
01The 30-day window
If a board isn't right for you, send it back within 30 days of delivery for a refund or a swap. We'd rather you ended up on the right Glide than held onto one that doesn't suit how you ride.
Not sure which size that is? Ask Viento before you decide — most returns are really a sizing question, and he can usually save you the trip.
02What qualifies
To be returned for a refund, a board should come back unridden and in its original packaging, in the condition it reached you.
- Unridden — no signs of use on the deck, hull or foil track
- Complete — board, titanium fasteners (including the spare), torx fold tool, day bag and printed materials
- Original packaging — the box and protection it shipped in
- Proof of purchase — your order confirmation or receipt
A board that's been ridden isn't eligible for a change-of-mind return — but if something's wrong with it, that's a warranty matter, and we'll look after you there instead.
03Starting a return
No forms in triplicate — a return starts with a short message:
- Get in touch at hello@waka.surf or through Viento with your order number
- Tell us whether you'd like a refund, a different size, or a hand deciding
- We'll confirm the details and the return address, and walk you through packing it safely
04Refunds & timing
Once your return arrives and we've checked it over, we'll process your refund to the original payment method. It typically lands within a few business days, depending on your bank or card provider.
Original shipping is refunded where required by your local consumer law; return shipping for a change of mind is generally arranged with you at the time.
05Exchanges & size swaps
Want a different volume rather than a refund? We'll help you swap sizes — every Glide is the same price, so it's a straight exchange. We'll get the new board moving as soon as the original is on its way back.
Before you swap — a two-minute chat with Viento about your weight and home spot usually settles which size is the keeper.
06Returns vs warranty
A return is for change of mind on an unridden board. If a board you've been riding develops a fault, that's covered separately under our limited warranty — including how we handle airline and travel damage.
