Why the calf
On a foil board an ankle leash is in the wrong place: it drags in the water, wraps the mast and catches your back foot when you shuffle. Worn on the calf, the coil rides above the water and off your stance, and it stretches out of the picture the moment you pump.
Built for salt water
- 6 mm BASF polyurethane coil that stretches to around five times its length, so it stays tight until you need it
- Stainless-steel dual swivels at both ends — no twisting, no corrosion
- Soft padded neoprene cuff with a wide hook-and-loop closure
- Reinforced cord end with a threaded loop for the board plug
- Easy-grab release loop
